ASICS is known for its best-in-class running and core performance footwear and apparels, and now the brand is set to further reinforce its position with the addition of its new SportStyle category. ASICS SportStyle is changing the way we look at streetwear, one sneaker at a time. It has made quite a huge mark in the sneaker world in the last year and a half with its new creative collaborations. Over the past year, ASICS had many exciting collaborations including ASICS Sportstyle x Vivienne Westwood, Concepts x ASICS Gel Lyte III OG, ASICS x SBTG x Limited Edition ‘Monsoon Patrol’ II, Day Lyte Pack. It is now setting the bar high with GT II and Reconstruction Pack.
The luxury sports footwear and apparel brand joined hands with Vaani Kapoor and Tiger Shroff to introduce its Re-Construction Pack to the world. Kapoor also visited the ASICS store at Jio World Drive, Mumbai to check out the latest collection and totally loved what ASICS has to offer.

Talking about its other collections, the all-new DAY-LYTE PACK features a blast of colours ranging across the rainbow. the GEL-LYTE III is reimagined with an assortment of vibrant colour palettes,
including purple, green, blue, yellow and orange, while additionally incorporating it’s signature GEL® technology cushioning unit in the heel to improve shock absorption and help deliver lasting comfort.
The MONSOON PATROL collection is an update to the 2018 Olive version. The collection is the essential weatherproof urban shoe that’s made to conquer any condition and reflect the wearer’s inherent sense of adventure.
The GEL-LYTE III OG ‘OTORO’ spawns design inspiration from the Japanese tuna. Formed with pigskin nubuck overlays on the upper, these panels are rendered with a series of coral hues to emulate the fatty meat cuts that appear on choice tuna belly. Representing the colouration from the scales of fresh tuna, the toe, heel, and ASICS Stripes also symbolize the Japanese knives used to slice the fish before its final presentation.
The ASICS X Vivienne Westwood GEL-KAYANO 27 DE has been designed with the seminal Westwood DIY aesthetic- playing with deconstruction – and decoding the sneakers raw construction. The GEL-KAYANO 27 DE’s upper fabric consists of ripstop fabric, traditionally used by the military for its incredible strength and durability – the utilitarian fabric gives a raw textural quality to the structural design of the sneaker.
