If you are going to create a brand that gives back, why not one with something that is super practical for everyone?! We all love, wear & need socks. Purchasing sustainable socks was not something I started doing when I began my sustainable wardrobe. I, honestly, didn’t think about my socks and underwear that much. After a few holes and sock monsters later, I realized purchasing sustainably should be applied to every garment I own. Not only are you ensuring the makers are being paid a fair wage, but you’re receiving a much better quality garment - so, less replacing, and more money saved in the process. Also, I’ve noticed, the more I like and care about the brand behind the product, the better I look after it. I don’t feel as if I have to replace my socks because I’ve lost a match. Socks that I really like, usually stick together better :)

Fairly Made: Conscious Step believes in an ethical workplace because all humans deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Their products are all Fair Trade Certified, which (if you are unfamiliar) is a movement promoting a sustainable workplace with the goal of helping producers in developing countries achieve better working conditions.
